The Good News

Wow, what an awesome couple of days in SL.

Friday was Bee's birthday, wooo Beeday. lol so we were hanging out for a while that day, and in the evening (well early morning for me) we were at Audio on the lab deck looking around the studio build which i will mention later, and well i asked her out and she said yes. so shes now my GF Bee. mwahaha. but thats not all, in the same like 5 minute period my best mate Troy proposed to Bee's best mate Nic, so they are engaged and im the best man. woot. maaad evening but it kicks serious ass.

Anyway i should mention the Studio Build at Audio, i've made loads or progress in the past couple days so now the structure is finished, and we can begin the enviable task to texturing. this is probably the hard part, finding the right pictures of all the gear and uploading it into SL to build a simulation of a real recording studio. IM me in-world if you would like to take a look around of give us a hand.

That'll do for today

Feeding The Habit

Well its been an interesting couple of days in Second Life, im not even going to mention real life in this post, as well...i havent really had one.

Started the day at Mooz Racetrack and set a PB on my new race bike, a Les White Ducati 999 (750L). I went on around 12noon GMT i think it was. Then a friend turned up and we messed about on the bike for a bit, however when i offered Bee a go at driving, some random dude jumped on the back and shot off straight ahead through the first gap in the wall and off the edge of the sim. lol. so shes now known as bike wrecker.

I then had a bit of a sleep for a couple hours as i was so tired after the mornings lecture. came back on about 4:30 after grabbing a bite of lunch. So i was back at the track and started chatting to a guy called Just Cattaneo who is a scripter and builder in SL about a new car he was working on. its a serious bit of kit but still in beta, so im helping with some testing and putting together some sound effects for the cars and other RPG style projects he is working on. if i can locate a good sound effects library and edit them down it could be a good little earner in-world.

Anyway spent a while with my buddy Troy, and it got to about 3am when Bee turned up again. we started off at The Squat in Nara which is a really cool club everyone should check out, its like a really rough and tumble DnB club set up to look like a squat basically. but great people, great music, great atmosphere. I got chatting to the owner Shane Sleaford and he tp'd me and Bee to a ghost train, really small little thing only 1L per ride but a good laugh. quite cleverly done. next we went to a Labyrinth which was awesome cool. to cut a long story short i was up until 8am my time hanging out with Bee and later in the day (ummm morning) Troy and Nic. just to clear things up a bit me and Troy are like brothers in the game, and he is going out with Nic. Now Bee and Nic and RL best friends, so the 4 of us get on really well. its awesome to have a group of close friends that you can go to.

So yeah, 8am. it was awesome though had a great time and will def be doing it again hopefully soon. But it does worry me just how addictive SecondLife is. i was on for over 16hours in a day. thats just haaardcooree.

well thats it for this post, hope everyone is doing well and dont forget to drop me an IM in-world if you read this.

Helloooo

This is just a test really for my new blog.

I hope to be posting up a bit about my life as Paul, my life as NoiseBoy Racer in SecondLife, and a bit about the ACF+ Audio Forum.
